The blockbuster audio of blockbuster Baadshah is out finally. With mammoth pre release expectations on it let’s see if the album manages to live up or not.

Sairo is already a chart-buster courtesy the leak, the song has been on everyone’s mind ever since then. The title song is another infectious number which gets better as the song progresses with the ending being the best part of the song.

We then have a series of mass songs “Banthi Poola Janaki”, “Rangoli” and “Welcome Kanakam”. Among the three “Banthi Poola Janaki” is the catchiest with the lyrics, beats, orchestration and male and female voices all coming to the party. The ‘kottina tittina’ refrain is highly addictive along with the very lively arrangements. “Welcome Kanakam” the much hyped item number follows. The beginning makes one feel that this could indeed be the mother of all item numbers but as the song progresses further it looses the tempo. Especially the male voice in the song is a big downer. It doesn’t match with the fantastic female portions which lifts the song throughout. “Rangoli” again has good lyrics for the masses and fans to go berserk but the tune isn’t catchy like the above two songs. Its success depends on its picturization.

Finally Simbu’s “Diamond girl” is the highlight of the album musically. It should be among the top 5 classiest songs in the career of Young Tiger NTR. The beginning, orchestration of the song, its smooth flow, everything is just perfect except for the word ‘addanga’ which somehow sticks out. The flute portion in the middle of the song followed by disco/club beats is fantastic.
