Plot: A journey into wilderness that goes horribly awry, after the tragic death of Finn’s girlfriend Ava, four pals set out to an ancient island with the intent of the search of a new beginning for their friend Finn

Story: It Remains starts when Finn (Lo) sees his girlfriend Ava (Yuen) killed in an accident. Finn is filled with guilt and haunted by her presence on a daily basis. To help deal with his grief, Finn joins his friends Luke (Chu), Liam (Ng) and Cora (Kwok) on a trip into the wilderness.
As the four explore the ancient island, they find themselves facing a string of nightmarish visions. Now, the friends find themselves trapped on the island and need to figure out how to deal with the spirits heading their way.
Verdict on It Remains
It Remains is a horror thriller following a group of friends dealing with grief. They head to a remote island in hopes of escaping their traumas, only to find themselves haunted more than ever. As they look to survive the two days on the island, they face a series of nightmarish memories coming back to haunt them.
This is a horror movie which dives into the unknown spiritual beliefs of people. It shows the horrors that follow people after a painful loss and uses them to haunt them. This is filled with a series of uncomfortable visits from spirits. However, the message is clear for the four friends. Meanwhile, the much darker side of the story brings a more shocking element to the film. The movies gives us great scares and disturbing interactions. It leaves you with plenty to think about as the journey becomes more difficult to understand. Only adding to everything we expierence along the way.
