a pixar fan? perhaps you’ll recognize this house from one of pixar movies

Since my site is actually dedicated for reviews and writings inspired by movies, I thought I should do a little feature about anything that is inspired by movies. There are countless things that were inspired by movies, actually. Small things like clothing, car, music, or mindset. But more than that, people can actually create things because they are inspired by a movie. These people and their creation I can found on internet, but I’m hoping to get bigger source in the future (if any of you or your friends or family have created or started anything because you were inspired by movies, you can let me know by a comment or e-mail).

To spice this feature, I want to share some lovely articles from my blogger friends. To find out the articles, you can scroll down below the inspired-by article.

Don’t you love Up (2009)? I was one of the people who got all teary watching Carl and Ellie’s love story. In Utah, there’s a neighborhood where they actually built real house from the Up movie. They paid attention to the little details in the house. They actually built and designed the interiors quite similar like in the movie, the stairs, hanging pictures and appliances. Wow!

“The movie kind of captured the idea that a house is a place where you live and you grow up and you live your life,” builder Blair Bangerter says. “We’ve tried to take this movie and bring it to life in a real home.” Read more in this link.

I was browsing in the internet and I found an article about an art school graduate (and also a blogger) created a bento boxes (lunch box) for her boyfriend designed/inspired by My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki’s Delivery Service. The girl, AnnaTheRed, made not only from those movies, but the subject sci-fi, anime and video games. She started to create them by leftovers she have (boy, that is too creative). They are too cute to be ignored, simply too cute to be eaten for my opinion! It’s highly imaginative and took a lot of patience and love to create such decorative food.

If you can design a bento box, what movie you’d like to design? What comes to my mind just now is Wreck-It Ralph (2012).
