There is no doubt that the Hollywood celebrities are developing a taste for the Indian culture. After Pitbull, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise, Akon and Oprah Winfrey, it’s the turn of Jennifer Lopez, the Latino pop sensation and Hollywood actress who will be visiting India in the month of March.
Raj Kundra, hubby of bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is the man who has planned to get her to India. Lopez will be in India to perform at the opening ceremony of the Sporting League, which is scheduled on March 11th at Andheri Sports Complex. The Sporting League is owned by Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt.
“Ever since the launch of the league, Raj wanted to have a grand opening ceremony. To bring Jennifer Lopez for a dance performance on the opening night was completely his idea. So, the management got in touch with the artist’s manager and finalised everything” as said to Mumbai Mirror by a source from the league.
“The Latino pop sensation, Jennifer will reach India on March 6th and will stay at a suburban five star. Due to her rehearsals, they will make sure her hotel is not too far away from the venue. The pop star will perform on some of her biggest hits including her latest album Love” the source added.
When Raj Kundra who is presently in Germany was contacted for his comments, he confirmed the story and said: “There are many surprises in store”.
We just have to wait and see to what level the glamour of sporting league matches to that of IPL (Indian Premiere League).
