Story: Haunted Ulster Live starts when TV presenter Gerry Walsh (Claney) is leading a production of a paranormal investigation in Belfast. A local family believes they are being haunted by a legendary ghost story. This starts using production skills for added effects, while a DJ performs in the attic.

When things start getting out of control, real unexplainable events start taking over. However, nothing will prepare the team for what is really going on in the house.

Verdict on Haunted Ulster Live

Haunted Ulster Live is a horror comedy following a television crew presenting a live broadcast of a paranormal investigation. What follows is a series of staged events for entertainment purposes. However, when the entertainment stops, they face a real threat from within the walls.

This uses the 1990s era to follow in the footsteps of other well-known ideas in the same era. It creates the same concept as ‘Ghostwatch’ with a slightly more comedic tone to everything. This is a movie that gives a shocking twist in tone halfway through once things become much more series. This is a great concept that creates a real environment that makes us believe we are watching a real TV broadcast. It is a move that will leave you shocked and becomes a welcome addition to the subgenre in the horror world.

Final Thoughts Haunted Ulster Live is a disturbing, shocking and terrifying movie.
