Today is director Teja’s birthday, the man who once ruled both the mass and class audience with his films. His films such as Chithram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam etc are known for their trend setting nature and introducing a numbers of artists to the Telugu cinema who later went on to become big names on their own.
The once prolific director owning to a personal tragedy had to take a long sabbatical from director. He returned last year after a long gap with Neeku Naku Dash Dash but that couldn’t revive his fortunes. The director is however coming soon with a new film titled Veyyi Abaddalu which is quirky comedy he is directing after a long gap. Let’s hope he gets a big success this time around.
