Scott Abramovitch makes his directorial debut with the laugh-out-loud funny, charmingly leftfield feature Dear Elizabeth, starring Arrested Development’s Tony Hale as an everyday man whose life takes a massive tumble when he tries to get in touch with an old classmate, who also happens to be a world-famous international star – Elizabeth Banks.

Easy to embrace, endearing and undeniably entertaining, Dear Elizabeth is packed full of humor and humanity. Having won the Best Comedy Award at San Diego International Film Festival, it gets its UK digital release this November courtesy of 101 Films.

Meet Sid Straw. He’s an ordinary guy living a mundane life, but when he’s tasked with arranging a class reunion, he inadvertently becomes a celebrity – in the worst possible way.  His attempt to contact college friend Elizabeth Banks on social media soon becomes an obsession as he sends her letter after letter, but who is actually reading them?

The harder Sid tries to prove he knows the star, the further his life falls apart.

Can Sid rediscover himself and the true meaning of friendship in this hilarious and heart-warming oddball comedy?

For some life affirming, offbeat fun make a note to watch Dear Elizabeth.
