Story: Crypto Shadows starts as we meet Cara (Iverson), a game developer who dabbles in the crypto market. She lives off the radar away from the world and has secretly made more than anyone could imagine. Cara has been developing an algorithm to make her job even easier but is struggling to find success in the process.
As Cara continues to use her time alone to focus on her own traumas. She finds herself dealing with unusual events and finds her algorithm being targeted. Cara finds herself becoming more paranoid and struggles to uncover the truth.
Verdict on Crypto Shadows
Crypto Shadows is a thriller following a young woman living off the grid. She has been through a traumatic event and has adapted to make millions through a cryptosystem. However, her life becomes more challenging when she believes she is being targeted by a shady group on the internet.
This is a thriller that offers plenty of mystery. It relies on Mikayla Iverson to carry the movie being the only character we tend to see on screen. The movie sees how a traumatic event can trigger unusual behavior including paranoia. However, it is the bigger secrets of what happens in the crypto market that drives the story along. This is a movie that relies on the mystery of the bigger series of events going on and creates tension throughout the journey. I feel this could gain a following like what the Sandra Bullock led movie ‘The Net’ now has.
