Jury Begins Deliberation In Jelani Maraj Rape Case
It’s only a matter of a few days to see if the Jury in the child rape case involving Nicki Minaj’s brother find him innocent or guilty. During the month long trial, the victim testified in terrifying detail of how Jelani allegedly sodomized and molested her. Experts testified his DNA match the DNA of male semen on her pajamas and the underaged victims brother testified before the jury that he walked in on Maraj raping his 10-year-old sister.
The defense in the case is relying on the jury to believe Jelani Maraj’s ex, and his step-daughter are just out for his sister’s money. Maraj’s mother testified for her son, insinuating that the family tried to extort them for Nicki Minaj money. Nicki nor her brother testified during the trial.
The jury in the case began deliberating today, according to NBC. So, it’s only a matter of time before Jelani learns his fate. He faces life in prison if convicted.
