Cauliflower and ham (Samosas)Triangles Recipe

Crisp, melting and delicious !
Hard to resist when you love this vegetable, the result is crispy outside and so delicious on the inside !
It was just a moment that I wanted to make . I like it because it allows you to make crispy entries with significantly less calories than puff pastries (even if the puff pastry is delicious). Finally, it is good to bake the triangles in the oven because if they are fried, the advantage of low calorie will disappear.

The Cauliflower Samosa

Ingredients for 4 people :

Half a cauliflower
8 sheets of brick
50g of butter + a piece to brush the samoussas
50g flour
Milk
A hint of nutmeg
One or two tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese
Two or three slices of ham

Preparation :

1. Wash the cauliflower. Cut it into small florets. Put it to cook in the steam for twenty minutes (check for doneness with the tip of a knife).

2. During this time, make the bechamel your way with the butter, flour and milk. Add the parmesan cheese, nutmeg grated, and season.

If you do not know how to make bechamel, here is my way of doing it :

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from the heat, add the flour a little at a time, stirring with the wooden spoon. When it is perfectly integrated in the butter, add the milk slowly, stirring until the bechamel sauce has the desired consistency.

3. When the cauliflower is cooked, add it to the white sauce and mix. Taste a whipping to be able to rectify the seasoning if necessary.

4. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

5. Cut the leaves of bricks in two halves. Fold the round on the flat part so as to obtain a rectangle sheet of brick.

6. Place a piece of ham and a spoonful of cauliflower and bend the samosas like this :

7. Then there will be a small piece of filo pastry, which exceeds

Folding the samosa

But if you have done the folding of the samosa, you just have to make it fit in the crease of it for it to disappear.

Brush the samosas butter previously melted in the microwave. Bake in the oven for about ten minutes (watch it closely, because it gets ready very fast)

the cauliflower cubes

If you love the samosas, I would also recommend the samosas with spinach and goat cheese, to which you can add surprising, diced fennel, this is really delicious.
