Can Facts Counter Feelings?

One thing I have been actively working on being who I am in no-matter-what. It hasn't been easy or even consistent but it has been pretty close. I know who I am, I love who I am and I am not willing to change, especially not to make others feel more comfortable. I share what I am thinking and feeling, when asked and when it is relevant.

So what brings on today's post is this tweet which I shared with a group friends because I felt I related to it.

Friend: Is that something that's on your mind?

Me: Not on my mind. But I read it and related to it.
Friend: But you are not a background friend love. Not to me. Never. I do think about you đŸ˜˜
Me: One feels the way one feels - there is no logic to feelings :)
Friend: But even so ... facts can counter what one may feel đŸ’đŸť. In this case fact = Love you lots đŸ¤—

And hence, my post's title: Can facts counter feelings? - What are your thoughts on it?

Moving on to the outfit ... These pictures were taken during one of our trips to Philadelphia. We are at the Reading Terminal Market. One of America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building, the Market offers an incredible selection of locally grown & exotic produce, locally sourced meats and poultry, plus seafood, cheeses, baked goods, and confections. It is a must visit if you find yourself in the city.
