Verdict on Borderline

Borderline is a drama following a young woman with a series of mental health problems mixed together with her drug addiction. It follows her interactions with people that help her continue down the dangerous path, as she does anything to get her next fix.

This is a powerful look at how someone can let their life spiral out of control. It shows how addiction can start controlling somebody’s life forcing them into making dangerous decisions. There is a clear sign of how someone can ruin their life because of addiction and turn on everyone who ever cared for them. Kate Lý Johnston gives us a wonderful leading performance showing the effects of everything she has done to herself. This is an uncomfortable watch at times, which just shows how the life is out of control.

Final ThoughtsBorderline is a disturbing uncomfortable watch.
