Priyanka Chopra – The heartthrob of Bollywood has not only made a dignified position for herself in the Indian film industry, but has also captured the world of music with her latest album ‘In My City’. The model-turned-actress-turned-singer has been roped in by Disney – UTV for their next Hollywood animation film Planes.
The 30 years old Priyanka will lend her voice to a lovable aircraft called Ishani. On the other hand, stand-up comedian and film actor Dane Cook will lend his voice for Dusty Crophopper. The film Planes is being directed by Klay Hall (Family Dog, The Simpsons, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure).
The makers of the animated movie Planes were searching for an Indian voice for the Asian character of Ishani. When Klay’s office got in touch with UTV’s chief Siddharth Roy Kapoor, he recommended Priyanka to them.
Priyanka will be dubbing the original English version of the film. The movie will hit theatres on August 9th.
