In a nutshell, the veryplaintxt theme for WordPress is like my absolute favorite, the only problem being that it’s never updated to be compatible with the new versions of WordPress. Which means that the other night when I was being the good blogger that I am and updating my plugins (which is much less sexy than it sounds) I also updated to the latest WordPress version.
Not good.
I have apparently modernized one version too far and now it doesn’t work which leaves me scrambling around trying to figure out how to A) get the developer to update his theme, B) see if it’s possible to install and old version of WordPress (I doubt the folks at WP would allow this), or C) find someone who knows anything about design to re-create veryplaintxt for me.
So until I get that sorted out I bring you the very first theme that I ever used on my blog, Coraline.
