Story: Those Who Wish Me Dead starts when twin assassins Patrick (Hoult) and Jack (Gillen) are on their latest job, which will see them looking to track down a father Owen (Weber) and his son Connor (Little). When Connor finds himself alone in the forest, the first person he meets is firefighter Hannah (Jolie) posted in the watchtower.

With Hannah trying to do the right thing to help Connor, the pair will find themselves tracked down by the killers and a raging forest fire they started, giving Hannah a chance a redemption for a previous loss, she hasn’t forgiven herself for.

Thoughts on Those Who Wish Me Dead

ThoughtsThose Who Wish Me Dead is an action crime thriller that will mix the hitmen hunting down loose ends, with a redemption story for someone who believes they failed in their career as a firefighter, after failing to rescue people before. The two stories will give us the more flushed out characters who have plenty on the line, with Hannah, needing this jolt to put her back on the right track, Connor needing to stay strong in the aftermath of what happened to his father, as well as the two hitmen, who are cold calculated killers. The race against nature, with the fire will add another dimension to the tension being built up giving us a film that will keep us on edge from start to finish and one that won’t hold back in the brutal approach to how the killers behavior. The performances in the film are great, with Agnelina Jolie giving us a more restrained character than we would be used to in her action roles, with Nicholas Hoult and Aidan Gillen being terrifying hitmen. This is a film that will hold you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, making you wonder what they will pull off next.

Final Thoughts Those Who Wish Me Dead is an edge of your seat thriller.
