Story: A Christmas Cruise starts when author Pam Stevenson (Fox) is facing another Christmas alone. However, her best friend Becky (Morris) invites her on a cruise just before the holidays start. The idea is for her to relax but she gets caught up in writing her latest article instead of letting loose.

As the cruise continues, she meets a handsome crew member Jake (St. John). A man that opens up the journey to her, giving her a glimpse at love, a feeling she hasn’t felt in a while.

Verdict on A Christmas Cruise

A Christmas Cruise is a romantic comedy with a festival twist along the way. It follows a single woman that goes on a cruise and ends up meeting somebody special, just in time for Christmas.

When it comes to Christmas romance movies, we know how they will unfold. Starting with a lonely persona at Christmas that meets somebody and sparks fly leading up to the celebration. This does everything you expect, without bringing anything original to the table. It is enjoyable, charming and feel-good along the way.

The performances in the film are great, with Vivica A Fox filling the leading role with ease.

Final Thoughts A Christmas Cruise is a good honest feel-good Christmas film.
