For me, this is true! I know that quite a few opportunities have been wasted due to my shyness and I regret that. That was before though. Now, I’m definitely better than that. When there’s an opportunity for me, I make sure that I grab it and take my chances. I actually keep telling myself that nothing will happen to me if I don’t do something about it. Ever since, I have been feeling better about the decisions that I have made and are still making.
If you’re someone that is really shy, don’t be. Try to overcome it as soon as you can and you’ll feel good about it.
If you’re on the fence about doing something, ask yourself why you’re scared or why you’re having second thoughts about it or maybe ask some advice from family members or friends.
