Thoughts on 21 Bridges

21 Bridges is an action thriller flowing through the streets of New York City. The story follows the cop everyone in the force expects to shoot first, ask questions later, tracking down cop killers. In a story that will follow the basic formula of hunting down criminals, we receive a twist along the way. An angle that will make things a lot more interesting but doesn’t play out as smoothly as it could.

This is an entertaining thriller; one you could watch without thinking it is bad. The problem comes with it feeling like the ending is rushed, without giving us a satisfying conclusion to the story.

Chadwick Boseman in his final performance is great to see. Giving him that chance to move away from the superhero world to a ground police figure role. One we could have easily seen him return to in the future. The supporting cast works well in the movie too, making us understand each of their motives along the way.

Final Thoughts21 Bridges is an entertaining action movie that does everything it needs to.
