Along with this, the company has also received the license of NLD National Long Distance and ILD – International Long Distance from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

After getting all these licenses, the company will launch its cloud-based Private Brand Exchange (PBX) service ‘Zoom Phone’ in the Indian market. This service will be provided to multinational corporations (MNCs) and business operating in India. It is said that the PBX will help manage conference call service for companies by acting as a local telephone exchange.

What is this ‘Zoom Phone’ service?

‘Zoom Phone’ is primarily a Voice over Internet Protocol service, which will allow multinational companies to make phone calls on the cloud-based Zoom software. The company was working on this service for a long time. At the same time, information was revealed recently that the company has also sought approval from the Government of India for this new phone call service. In the latest report, it has now been learned that the company has been shown the green signal by the government.
