After numerous delays due to various reasons (court cases and Sanjay Dutt jail) Zanjeer has finally got a release date. The film will release worldwide on September 6 in Hindi and Telugu (as Toofan) simultaneously. Earlier Saif Ali Khan starrer Bullet Raja was lated to release on the same day but has been postponed to a later date making it clear for smooth Zanjeer release.
Zanjeer is directed by Apoorva Lakhia who has in the past made films like Mission Istanbul and Shootout At Lokhandwala. Priyanka Chopra act as heroine in the film opposite Ram Charan while Sanjay Dutt plays an important supporting role of Sher Khan.
