Shoes For Every Season

What different kinds of shoes do you need in your life? First let's think about the seasons, you need shoes for winter, and shoes for summer.

Winter requires a range of shoes - knee high boots are perfect to wear with opaque tights and your skirts and dresses, or over a skinny jean or legging and keep your legs warmer. Ankle boots are fabulous to wear with your bootcut, wide-leg or flared trousers and jeans. A range of colours that blend with trousers or a pair that is the same as your hair will give you heaps of versatility!

Summer requires and open shoe, and a nude shoe (in your version of nude) is a perfect staple that will make your legs look longer and go with every outfit you own.

Also look for patterns, such as the snakeskin, or colours or even some sparkle to dress up your summer outfits.

Shoes for Different Occasions

Then you need to think about the different occasions in your life.

Your everyday shoes to wear with trousers and pants. Loafers are a great pant-shoe - look for texture or cutout details or even patterns to make them less masculine and more stylish. Loafers can be a great option to look and feel polished at work with your dress trousers.

And stylish flat shoes to wear with your skirts and dresses as well (and these do work with pants as well for ultimate versatility. A variety of colours and patterns will keep your everyday shoes from looking bland or boring and give each outfit an extra bit of pizazz. A low vamp shoe will make your legs look longer every day of the week!

Then there are those super comfortable shoes you need when you're going to be doing a whole lot of walking - and a stylish sneaker can be the way to go. Look for pattern and colour, or details (like the pearl embossed sneakers below).

And last, but definitely not least, is shoes for more formal occasions. Where most people are traditionally wearing heels. Here you need some options that have the glitz and glam factor but still retain their comfort, and more tips here if you hate heels but are needing a more formal shoe.
