Rose’s story is an inspiration not only to intercultural couples, but to every couple! Rose is Catholic and has been married to her Sikh husband for over three decades, over the years they have overcome cultural and personal differences, but with love and God’s guidance (from both religions) they remain strong. Rose is a beautiful person, inside and out! I feel so blessed to have been able to get to know this inspiring and strong woman, and so privileged to be able to share her story with you all! Surviving three decades and three separations, by the grace of God… When I was in third grade, there was a boy that had brown skin in my class. I later learned he was from India. I had no concept of where India was or anything about the country or culture. His mom and sister had a big red dot on their forehead. Little did I know then, that this beautiful and rich culture would become such a big part of my life.
