Your Galaxy A51 Will Only Receive Two Firmware Updates a Year from Now

The Galaxy A51 is not just one of the best Samsung phones it’s also one of the most successful company devices. It draws millions of customers around the world to a combination of brilliant specifications and features at competitive prices in the mid-range segment.

Who was saying, it was almost two years since this handset was released. So it’s time for Samsung to adjust the support of the software for the Galaxy A51. Those who have the device will not be happy to know that the Galaxy A51 will only get two updates per year from now on.

Galaxy A51 is on the list of Samsung devices that get three Android OS upgrades. This eligible for Android 12 One UI updates. Samsung is expected to release one UI 4.0 for devices in the coming weeks.

Samsung also promised to provide a smartphone with four years of security updates. This update was released in the monthly, quarterly and biennial cycles for devices. Previous Galaxy A51 on a quarterly schedule. That means it will get new security updates every three months.

The Galaxy A51 has received security updates February 2022 and the device has now been lowered with a biennial cycle. Samsung will only release two security updates per year for the Galaxy A51 forward. The meeting to note that the Galaxy A51 5G still remained in the quarterly cycle.

Samsung never gave a reason to reduce demoting the device so we did not know what actually caused the company to make this decision. All Galaxy A51 owners can be done now are accepting new ones.
