Next month, Young Widows will drop their fourth album via Temporary Residence (Pre-order here). As we’ve already heard, Easy Pain is easily going to be their fleshiest and most punishing record yet. The sound and production is elevated beyond anything I’ve previously heard from the band and “The Money”, a digital only bonus track, further emphasizes this. Especially the lower registry sound enormous on this one, while lead singer Evan Patterson sounds every bit as dynamic as he has done on previous singles “Kerosene Girl” and “King Sol”. Can’t wait until they unleash these monsters on stage.
