As per usual, I’m late posting something on this blog. This time however, I could care less. This is an awesome story out of Nebraska this weekend. A 7 year old battling brain cancer got the opportunity to get on the football field with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and rush for a 69 yard touchdown. This is one of those great stories that reminds us all how sports can have a positive impact on all our lives. If you think about the good feelings that Jack Hoffman, the young boy, his family, the Nebraska football team and anyone who’s read this story over the weekend is having right now, you understand why I love sports so much.
It’s great to start the week off with an uplifting story.
