Life in the country can be a bit boring. There are no exciting new shops, and no Starbucks filled with wannabe J.K.Rowlings.
So when I spotted a white kangoroo, I got all excited! I even took a picture with my smartphone, before I rushed home to tell my kids.
‘You’ll never guess what mommy saw today!’ I shouted as soon as I stepped into our house.
‘A tree?’ my 16-year old son, asked without even looking up.
‘A white kangoroo!’ I told him triumphantly.
But instead of the kids getting all excited they just shrugged and said: ‘Those don’t even exist.’
So it’s a good thing, I’ve got the proof on my smart phone. Pity, I don’t know how to zoom in though. Or the evidence would be much more convincing!
