The people at Cheep Chic Weddings, took this up a good few notches by asking readers to create wedding gowns out of toilet roll.
The contestants were allowed to sew, tape, or glue their creations made out of Soft toilet paper, and were judged on creativity, originality and neatness.
The results were, surprisingly, beautiful. (Yes, we just called toilet paper beautiful.)
Cheap Chic Weddings has been running the contest for 10 years, but this year's event is considered the biggest with the first prize winning $10,000 (£5,897).
