There is no doubt that Samsung has to do better with its next Galaxy flagship. While the Samsung Galaxy S20 brought high frame rates and huge camera sensors, it fell short of consumer expectations and the company's alleged sales forecasts.
To that end, we asked ourselves what Samsung could do with the Galaxy S30 series to fix these issues, or at least make the device family more attractive.
We've listed eight ideas that we think will go a long way toward improving the Samsung device line, but ultimately, it's up to you to decide which to make the cut. Here's what you told us:

The eight options were fairly evenly spaced and showed how divided your opinions really are. Unless you were arguing over the name of the next galaxy, there was one specific request that outweighed the rest: a desire for lower prices.
Of the more than 1,500 votes cast, almost 35% wanted the Samsung Galaxy S30 to cost less than its predecessor. Given the Galaxy S20 family's sticker prices, this is a fair request. To start, it took you $ 999 to buy the cheapest Galaxy S20, compared to $ 749 for the Galaxy S10e last year.
While we mentioned in our original article that we would only list features that Samsung could realistically implement, it doesn't seem like the company is cutting prices on its flagship range without sacrificing more features or a budget flagship Variant to develop.
With that in mind, a flagship of the household appears to be very popular with voters. Almost 17% of users wanted Samsung to build another inexpensive "E" device, just like the Galaxy S10e. Samsung's 2019 Compact Range-Topper was a hit, offering users flagship features in a compact package. This combination is way too hard to find in the Android ecosystem in 2020. So it's unclear why Samsung didn't offer an S20e. That said, it's a device Samsung could bring to market without much risk of failure.

The wishes of a compact flagship barely exceed the wish for a headphone jack. 16% of you wanted to see the return of the ubiquitous audio port, a feature that was removed from the S20 series. Samsung would likely argue that the Galaxy Buds Live and its other wireless audio offerings are more than enough for users, but it's clear that gamers and audiophiles wouldn't mind having the jack option.
The other five options didn't seem as popular as the three above, but around a fifth of voters wanted Samsung to improve their wired charging speeds or design devices with "less glass". We envision that the latter request would come with lower prices, especially since readers also told us in another poll that the plastic-backed Galaxy Note 20 is an absolute no-go at its price of $ 999.
After all, only 3.8% of you wanted Samsung to ditch the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a feature that has been a sticking point for some users in the past. The introduction of full eSIM support was only supported by 2.2% of you, while the desire for a smaller camera bump accounted for almost 8% of the total votes.
Discussions in the comments highlighted other features Samsung should add to the Galaxy S30.

Plus, it should be pretty obvious to them by now that their prices need to be cut by $ 100 to $ 200 per unit based only on the miserable sales of the S20 line.
