You're Invited to the "Hello Kitty, Hello Art" Exhibition

Hello to you art lovers and fellow Hello Kitty fans, I've got some exciting news for you. I know I think of some of my Hello Kitty stuff as art but here is an event where Hello Kitty is truly artistic. Sanrio is hosting their first art exhibition in New York next weekend. The gallery exhibition will showcase unique paintings, sculpture, prints and media from popular street and contemporary artists from around the world, all inspired by Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. The exhibit will be  and open to public Friday, December 14th – Sunday, December 16th at the Openhouse Gallery NYC

Expect to see some wonderful, eclectic works from Betsey Johnson, Paul Frank Sunich, Simone Legno, POST, Adam Wallacavage and RISK. The exhibit also houses a holiday inspired "pop up shop" featuring limited edition ornaments, custom made candy from Papabubble, holiday wreaths and garland, accessories and limited edition prints of select artwork.
