Meek Mill Could Face Up To 2 Years In Prison
Meek Mill is facing up to two years in prison for violating his probation. The Philadelphia rapper is currently under probation for a drug and weapons case, and has been arrested twice in the past year — once for getting into a kerfuffle at the St. Louis airport, and once more for driving recklessly on a motorcycle through New York City.
According to reports from TMZ, Mr. Mill will be in court on Monday to address his violations, and he could end up spending up to 20 months in prison. The judge that handled Meek’s case previously said that his consequences would be serious if the rapper made another misstep–he was put on house arrest in 2015 after leaving Pennsylvania to go to a performance without approval.

Meek’s initial arrest happened in 2008 after being convicted of drug dealing and gun possession, which led to him spending eight months in prison. Since that stint almost a decade ago, he has faced numerous legal troubles for violating probation and has been in-and-out of jail for month-long periods due to his numerous violations.
