You could win a Galaxy S21 Ultra by making a video for Jimmy Fallon
  • Samsung and Today's show with Jimmy Fallon run a competition to win a Galaxy S21 Ultra.
  • You need to make a movie in 60 seconds or less and share it on social media using the correct hashtags.
  • You have until February 1st to complete the first round and win a phone.

If you introduce yourself as a budding mobile cameraman, now is your chance to win a free Galaxy S21 Ultra - assuming you're ready to do something.

As SamMobile Reports, Samsung and Today's show with Jimmy Fallon are running a competition where 10 finalists who create a 60-second or less short film on the theme of "Another Focus" will receive free Galaxy S21 Ultra phones. The project can be silly or sad and cover virtually any topic. All you have to do is post it on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Twitter using the hashtags #TonightShowFilmFest and #Contest.

You have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on February 1 to post your video. The competition is only open to permanent US residents. If you are lucky enough to survive this first round, you have until February 18th to shoot another short film with the free Galaxy S21 Ultra. The jury will select the final winner on March 7th and their project will be presented at the first Tonight Show Film Festival between March 8th and 12th.

This isn't the first time Fallon and Samsung have partnered. The Tonight show Fallon filmed a full episode with the Galaxy S10 Plus in March 2019, and Fallon's crew worked with Samsung in 2020 to deliver the Galaxy S20 Ultra and other Mother's Day gifts to frontline workers at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yes, the free phones are ultimately a marketing ploy to promote the Galaxy S21 Ultra and its camera features. This still gives you a chance to hone your filmmaking skills, and it's hard to deny the appeal of getting a top-notch smartphone while indulging in your creative impulses.
