Shock horror, I'm going to talk about wearing florals during summer! I won't deny it I'm a sucker for floral and quite frankly I get excited about them coming into full bloom each spring/summer season.

I decided that when I went to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, my SS13 florals would make my debut... after all it was the garden show of the year! You may have spied the cute shift dress I wore which is from Whistle + Wolf, (number 3 in top picks) I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. It is very silky in fabric and can work equally well in the day or at night.
I wore the dress last night when my boyfriend and I went to Bicester, we were staying nearby for the Blenheim Triathlon the next day. That evening we ventured out for a bite to each to celebrate our anniversary. I don't know if you'll believe this but I have never been to Bicester Village... but when we got there I started to feel like a child in a sweet shop - I had really been deprived all my life without it! So many wonderful shops!

We went to Villandry in Bicester Village for our delicious dinner to celebrate our 6 years together. I felt my floral dress was perfect especially teamed with my soft leather Fossil bag. Neither of us were wanting to get too dressed up or stay out too late, mainly because we had an early start for the triathlon. I decided my outfit was casual but still hinted on cute and girlie. Just the look I was after.
Florals always tend to lift my mood everytime I wear them. Even if the weather doesn't reflect happiness, I know if I grab something with roses, daisies or pansies on it, I will certainly feel chipper.
What florals have you found this SS13?
