You Asked...I Answered!

By Cait @caitscozycorner
Last week I asked you all to ask me some questions to get to know me better. Since I have so many new followers ( hey! ) I wanted to make this a little fun Q and A. Seriously, you blew me out of the water with some hilarious but tough questions. Grab a glass of wine ( err maybe not because it's early in the morning... ) or that big mug of coffee, pull up a comfy chair and let's get started!
You Asked...I Answered!
Why did you decide to start blogging?I've always loved to write and used to even write in an xanga ( please tell me you remember what that is! ) in high school. Starting one in Graduate school, I wanted to document my frustrations, triumphs and daily life. 6 years later and re branding a few months ago, life has taken turns and twists but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love being able to help, inspire and encourage people around the world and make a connection I never could have done if it weren't for blogging.\
What is your favorite thing to do with an hour of "me" time?If i say reading you'll laugh but really I love to dive into a good book. Although lately I've been binge watching Grey's Anatomy again on Netflix. Mcsteammmyyy!
What is your favorite children's book?Such a great question! I used to love The Babysitter's Club and almost all of the Karen series ( Kristy's little sister from the BSB club ). I think there was 120 books and I owned about 115.You Asked...I Answered! If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go?In college, I took a 3 week trip to Italy for a course. I visited a town called Taormina which is in the Sicily region and vowed to come back and live there someday. The town is majestic, the people are so friendly and the view is breathtaking. I'm slowly learning Italian to make the dream happen ( when I retired )
How do you avoid writers block?I always have a list/my phone with me to write down ideas or thoughts. I always look at Pinterest, Facebook for inspiration too. Sometimes going on a long walk to clear my head, I'll come up with 4 blog post ideas! Don't put a lot of pressure on yourself to come up with the perfect post. If you need some help, I came up with 100 blog post ideas too!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?I wanted to be a Nascar driver. The hilarious thing is I have awful motion sickness. I literally get queasy on the swings but for some reason, riding in a Nascar and speed racing was a thrill for me. I even had a chance to ride in one as a graduation present from my Masters program!
Would you rather change gender every time you sneeze or not be able to tell a difference between a baby and a chocolate chip cookie? I laughed so hard at this question! For one thing, babies and chocolate chip cookies are a love language to me but not being able to tell a difference?! I'd probably try to take a bite out of my kid ha. So I'd choose changing gender every time I sneeze..which is could be super awkward if I was out to dinner with friends.
How would your life be different if you had never started blogging?I think I wouldn't be as confident as I am. Your e-mails/comments on my Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat make me feel as if I'm doing something encouraging and most importantly, worth it to you to read every day. You make me feel as if I'm supposed to be doing this and I can't thank you all enough for coming to my blog every day.
Name your Marry, F**k and Kill Choices!Marry- Bradley CooperF**k- Gerard Butler Kill- Kardashian clan
Would you rather fight 10,000 mouse sized tigers or one tiger sized mouse?Considering I hate mice I'd rather fight just one huge mouse than 10,00! YACK!
If your life were to be turned into a book, who would you want to be the author?I really had to think about this answer! I really loved how researched and in depth Jodi Picoult is with her novels and I feel like with my medical history and being a preemie in the beginning, she'd probably be amazing at putting something together!
What advice do you have for new bloggers?
Stay true to yourself. There are so many fabulous blogs out there but finding what you love to do, what you can inspire in others and what you think should be known is what makes your blog and you unique. Keep it at. Find your niche and keep working hard. You can do it!
What kind of camera do you use?
Zach bought me this amazing Nikon D330 camera for Christmas!
I cried.
What would you have done differently in blogging?
I would have reached out to bloggers sooner.
Connecting and finding your tribe of blogging buddies is key so
comment, chat, tweet, share as much as possible.
