Barmbyfield Farm Wedding Photography
Arrrgh I have been so excited to blog this wedding for ages. I mean – like I was super excited to blog this wedding even whilst I was shooting it because it just has so much pretty all in one place.
I am totally in love with all the gorgeous DIY wood details and the beautiful autumn theme complete with the most stunning colours of bridesmaids dresses. Emma looked so gorgeous in her frock with the most delicate lace details and the most lovely Jenny Packham piece in her hair. Emma put so much of herself into the details – even making the clever little ‘tie the knot’ invitations herself! Metres and metres of hand stitched bunting were made to hang from the ceiling of Barmbyfield barn by Alex’s mom. Alex and Emma even gathered up loads of personal wedding favours for each of their guests from their travels in Thailand.
We even had a little stop at Emma’s mother’s house for a few photographs in her mother’s fantastic garden (it had a view of sheep!) – an idea I totally love! What can be more personal than making your mother’s garden a part of your wedding memories?
Everything about Alex & Emma’s wedding had their personal touches all over them and it just made for such a special day. Everyone was so relaxed and happy and it was just so much fun to be there to capture it all.
Ahhhh what an absolutely perfect day – from the big, puffy clouds to the red and amber sunset – just perfect.
