During the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, many hoardings have been installed at many important places in Lucknow, including photos and addresses of the accused who have caused violence and damage to public properties.

In these hoardings, these people have been asked to pay penalty for damage to public property. Earlier in the month of December, 2019, there were many protests in Lucknow against the citizenship law. During this violence, public property was also damaged.

It has been said in the hoarding that if these people do not pay the penalty, then their property will be confiscated.

Sources say that the order to install such hoardings in Lucknow has come directly from the Chief Minister’s Office.

Those who have pictures in the hoarding include activist and politician Sadaf Zafar, lawyer Mohammad Shoaib, theater-related Deepak Kabir, former IPS SR Darapuri. These CAA violence accused are on bail and they said that they will fight against the decree to confiscate property from the government.
