Yellow

What do you wear to a fashion preview event? Not just any fashion event either, we're talking serious big name designer here so it clearly called for something (more) formal, while trying to look like I hadn't spent all morning grumbling at my wardrobe! After the feedback from this playsuit, I decided to give yellow another go and luckily I had this dress, just waiting for an occasion to be worn.Dress - George at Asda (similar)*, Sandals - Jones*, Bag - Matalan* Watch - Daniel Wellington* Sunglasses - WhistlesA pretty simple outfit, but on a sunny day is there anything better than a pop of colour? Yes... a twister lolly perhaps... Just me? Okay then. So anyway, this dress is from George at Asda and I bet you didn't see that coming! It's easy to dress up with some heels, like I've done - decided it'd be better to be slightly overdressed to a press event, than rock up in my roshe runs. Equally easy to wear with some flat sandals during the day and when the colder months come around, layer on a leather jacket and some boots. The Bowes Museum is such a lovely building just to look at isn't it? It's even better if you head inside too. Make sure you visit the YSL Style Is Eternal exhibition if you can, full details here from when I had a look around.
