At CES 2020, one of our most popular new products was the Yale Smart Delivery Box. Today you can finally buy the security device with which you can protect your parcels and other valuables from veranda pirates.
The delivery box establishes a connection to your WLAN at home. You can then lock or unlock them using a smartphone app if necessary. There is also an optional keypad that your trusted delivery person can use to open the locked box if necessary.
Yale Smart Delivery Box: Keep calm
Although the Smart Delivery Box looks like a large plastic container, there is actually a lot going on. First of all, you can choose between two ways to attach the box to your porch: with a tether or weigh it down with sand or some other heavy material.
The best way to use the delivery box is to leave it unlocked when it's empty. If a deliverer puts a package in, the box is automatically blocked and your smartphone notifies you. You can then be sure that it will be safe until you can get it.

If you want to spend a little more money, there is an optional keyboard that can be wirelessly connected either to the box itself or somewhere nearby. You can create a passcode and give it to your trusted deliverer who can then unlock the box if necessary. This is great for travelers or for those who receive lots of deliveries throughout the day.
In addition, you can also put a soft-sided cooler in the box that will keep all food deliveries cool or all food deliveries hot. But this is also available separately.

The Yale Smart Delivery Box is available in two colors: Kent (light gray version) and Brighton (darker gray). The Brighton model starts at $ 229.99. For some reason, the Kent model is more expensive at $ 279.99.
If you want to add the optional keyboard, the price increases by $ 50 for each model. That would cost the Brighton model $ 279.99 and the Kent model $ 329.99.
