Xiaomi today has launched the Redmi Note 3 in India. This is the first time this phone has been launched outside China since its launch there in November last year. Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 3 with a Snapdragon process unlike the Chinese variant that has a MediaTek processor. This device will pose a serious competition to sub Rs 15,000 segment.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants one with 2GB RAM and 16GB space, another with 3GB RAM and 32GB space. It is prices at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. The device will be sold through Mi.com/in and Amazon.in . Xiaomi will later sell the phone through Flipkart and Snapdeal too.

Redmi Note 3 comes with a full metal curved design and boasts an IR Blaster. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner at back and comes in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colours. It flaunts a 5.5-inch IPS LCD full HD (1,080 x 1,920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 401ppi and comes with a dedicated Reading mode.
The device is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Face Detection Autofocus support while a 5 mega pixel front facing camera serves the purpose of a selfie camera. It runs on a Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7 and is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 processor.
For connectivity part,Redmi Note 3 has all the regular connectivity options like 4G LTE (compatible with Indian LTE bands), VoLTE, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.There will also be a mammoth 4050 Mah battery to power the device and users can use Redmi Note 3 as a dual-SIM phone (micro-SIM and nano-SIM) or a single macro-SIM along with a microSD card to extend the memory on board. The company also launched a Mi Bluetooth speaker, priced at Rs. 1,999.
