Xiaomi Corporation is a Chinese electronics company founded by Lei Jun in 2010 and headquartered in Beijing.

Well said, but Xiaomi is not easy to pronounce outside China so it’s not globally oriented. That explains why they shelled out $3.6m to acquire Mi.com as its corporate domain in 2014.
