We have heard about the Xiaomi 12 Lite series for a long time. Back in October, information about lineup appears in detail. Four months later, a new report from the same source now gives us updates about this device.
Xiaomiui was the person who spilled detail at Xiaomi 12 series last month. Publications are now back with updates.
Now say that the lineup will only include one phone and it will be available exclusively as a ‘global’ variant. Previously, it was said there would be two models, one of which would be available in all important markets (China, Global, India), while others would be limited to China.
The source told Xiaomi had settled with the hands of the Taoyao handset whose model number abbreviated was L9. This device will be similar to the Xiaomi Civi and Xiaomi series each in terms of specifications and design.
Xiaomiui even shared the concept of rendering. But we will advise you to consider it with a little salt. However, the specifications can be accurate.
The end-tipped smartphone with an OLED 3D screen curved 6.55 inches with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The panel will have support for up to 120Hz refresh speed and fingerprint sensor on the screen.
It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + SOC or the Snapdragon 7XX chipset that is even stronger. This will accommodate a triple camera setup consisting of the Samsung Isocell GW3 64MP primary sensor, Ultrawide Unite, and macro shooter.
Like the Xiaomi group smartphone, it will display a double stereo speaker. Finally, the phone will boot MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
As mentioned earlier, this handset was previously planned to be released in China and India, in addition to the ‘global’ market. At the same time, the variant of this device with the Zijin name code with a telefoto camera instead of the Maco snapper should be released exclusively in China. But Xiaomiui now states that this version of the phone has now been canceled.
