My typical day includes dabbling with my laptop display, multiple smartphones, wearables, and other displays for an extended period of the day. This does cause a lot of stress in the eyes and areas around them, especially the forehead.
This continuous stress was not only irritating but was impacting my day to day word as well hence I was desperately looking for an on-the-go solution that could help me destress and let me re-focus quickly.
But getting a spa almost every day during work or otherwise sounds crazy, isn't it? Right about then, I got introduced to a portable smart eye massager and I thought, well lets definitely give it a try.
Xech iSoothe eye massager review
Xech iSoothe portable eye massager is a big plastic eye cover which can give therapist like massages to your eyes and forehead area. This portable eye massager comes with features like vibration and pressure motors which offers massage on your eyes and near-by areas and heat compression technology that can offer up to 42-degrees of heat that helps you relax quickly.
It also has a pair of speakers which can play ambient music or lets you even pair your smartphone to stream your favourite music during the therapy-like session.
The Xech iSoothe eye massager has a portable design that allows you to fold the massager in half and carry it easily in a bag or suitcase. It comes with an inbuilt battery which can be charged via any micro USB cable.
What's good about the Xech iSoothe eye massager
During my review, I used the eye massager extensively. It gave me a relaxing massaged every time. The overall build quality is good and the eye pads are made of premium material. The elastic strap which goes around your head is really good and offers a tight grip keeping the massager close to your eyes.
The iSoothe eye massager comes with 5 different modes: Automatic, Fresh, Smart, Lenses & Sleep Mode. One can choose the mode according to the requirement with each mode offering a different level of relaxation.
The charging port is located at the bottom and is normally not visible when the massager is in use, only when you fold the massager, you can find the charging port. Button to operate the massager is located on the right side and is easily accessible. It can be used to turn on or off and change the modes.
What's not good about the Xech iSoothe eye massager
This is a very interesting gadget, unlike most that I'm used to testing and finding issues would be nit-picking. One of the issues that I found is that a single button for all the operations is not the most intuitive way to control. There is an LED light notification that lets you know about the battery status and mode. The battery indicator also could have been slightly better.
There's nothing like a personalized spa session for your eyes right when you need it. Be it the office, drawing room, bedroom, car or even airport, just wear it and turn on the switch to let it cast a spell!
For most times, a single therapy session was good enough for me and the one taken right before getting in to the bed resulted in a sound sleep.
I've always been interested in Gadgets and stuff around technology. I got hooked to Android when I bought my first Android Smartphone around 2008/09. Mobile technology has been my first priority ever since. Other than technology I also enjoy Photography, watching movies and socializing with my friends and family. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook
