Excited for 2016? In my case I've got a bucket list to finish, new workouts to try and new comic book movies to watch!
James McAvoy ( Frankenstein) and Micheal Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds), Jennifer Lawrence ( Hunger Games) are back expanding the Marvel cinematic universe along with Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones), Olivia Munn and Oscar Isaac (Sucker Punch).
X-Men: Apocalypse, the sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past and the ninth instalment in the X-Men movie franchise, introduces Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant. He gained immortality by amassing all the powers from other mutants. After some millennia he wakes up from slumber only to be dissatisfied with the current state of the world. He recruits a team of mutants to create a new world order, and so Raven and Professor Charles Xavier must save humanity with their team of young mutants.
If conflicted about the story timeline, here's a breakdown from the Interwebz: The X-Men Origins (X-Men 1-3) happened in the original timeline (let's call it A), because those events led to the future seen in Days of Future Past. When the past was changed, however, a NEW timeline was created, where Magneto lifted a sports stadium, which led to mutants joining Professor Xavier's school sooner than later.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will hit theaters in the summer of 2016, and according to IMDB, X-Force is in production. Whooo!
