Following the recent release of ‘Human’, Wyse (aka Chloe Lockyer) has announced she will be releasing her next single with our good friends at Rose Coloured Records this summer. The talented singer-songwriter from Petersfield has also just released a live video for ‘Human’ which you can watch here:
Already supported by BBC Introducing in the South, Wyse’s charming DIY sound recalls the likes of Marika Hackman, The Big Moon and other slackerpop bands while her lyrics are full of heartfelt observations on the perils of impending adulthood and the position of young people in today’s society: ‘I don’t want to be human, I don’t want to speak for the things they’ve done’.
A hugely promising talent, we’re excited to hear what Wyse will be cooking up with Rose Coloured over the months ahead.
