The second biggest wrestling show of the year gives us a big main event to look forward to: Drew McIntyre defends his WWE Championship against Randy Orton. Since win the title at WrestleManiaMcIntyre didn't have one particularly large threats against his government. But with Orton After his big win against Edge at BacklashThe veteran could potentially finish McIntyre's championship run.

And another good news: Asuka is challenging not just one, but two titles. She will play against Sasha Banks for the Raw Women's Championship and then against Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship. One of these is likely to be great - and if we're lucky, it will both be.

The show takes place in the WWE ThunderDome, an arena with no physical fans but with thousands of virtual fans who turn on via LED boards. Introduced crowd noise repeats the cheering of the audience - or at least tries to. The ThunderDome warmed up on SmackDown but is getting its first big show on SummerSlam.

Sonya Deville versus Mandy Rose

This WWE match without disqualification, loser leaves next.

Street Profits keep Raw Tag Team Championships

Kevin Owens didn't want to comment on this game. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins got the W after Ford hit an evil Frog Splash against Angel Garza, who had teamed up with Andrade.

This fight was a little disjointed in places, but it was a solid day match. Dawkins is an athlete freak which makes it fun to watch him do basically anything. Andrade is an underrated performer and was another highlight.

It started with Ford gaining the edge over Garza, but the bad guys quickly turned things around by doubling up and defeating Ford. Things took off when Dawkins got the hot day and cleared the house. He had a strong - but too short - exchange with Andrade. In the end, Andrade would be distracted when Zelina Vega was knocked off the apron, which allowed the Street Profits to get the pen on Andrade.

Rating: 2.5 stars. A simple but decent game.

Bayley beats Asuka

The main show started with Asuka's first championship opportunity when she took Bayley up for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Bayley would end up keeping by securing a rollup after interference from Sasha Banks.

It wasn't a very good game. The story is that towards the end, Bayley put the pain on Asuka's knee. This started with Bayley dropping Asuka knee first into her apron. She then followed up with some leg-based submissions. After the match, Banks and Bayley continued to knock Asuka down.

In other words, this match was a warmup for the Asuka versus Sasha Banks for the Raw Women's Championship. This is probably the better fight. Bayley and Asuka didn't really click here. There is also the problem of Bayley's offense, which is often not convincing. This made itself felt here, where she used some weak looking "submission holds" that poor Corey Graves had to try to explain ("it's kind of a knee bar, but it doesn't have everything ...")

Rating: 2.5 stars.

Apollo Crews retains the US championship

The crews defeated MVP in a short match to keep his US title. He got stuck MVP after a spinning power bomb.
