Leave it to Marc Jacobs to create a unique and polarizing collection!
On Thursday, Kendall Jenner walked in his show during New York Fashion Week wearing a hip-hop inspired outfit comprised of a burgundy corduroy jacket and pants, platform heels, and a ridiculously large beanie hat.

According to the show notes, the eccentric designer was inspired by a documentary called Hip-Hop Evolution, which chronicles the history of the music genre and its impact on the world. Jacobs also credits his New York-upbringing, which exposed him to the culture’s art and style.
While the KUWTK star looks unrecognizable in her baggy outfit, she is doing her best to uphold Marc’s vision.
As we reported last year, Jacobs was accused of cultural appropriation when his Spring 2017 show featured models wearing rainbow-colored wool dreadlocks.
It’s important to note that the model line-up for this collection was noticeably more diverse.
