Wt Workshop, a world-class studio special effects and props company, is branching out into the metaverse. A crew of design wizards from Miramar, New Zealand, produced some of the most magnificent film and television moments of all time. For instance, the Lord of the Rings trilogy helped put the company’s brilliance in front of a global audience.
After three decades of changing the special effects business, this award-winning company joins the metaverse.
This is a significant name entering the metaverse, and it will be intriguing to watch how it is perceived. Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger started Wt Workshop in 1987. The Wt Workshop team is one of the world’s most sought-after concept design specialists. LOTR, Mad Max: Fury Road, Dune, and Avatar, among others, have become cinematic monuments.
Dr. Grordbort and the Wt Workshop
Dr. Grordbort, a retro-futuristic steampunk serial, will introduce the studio’s special effects and concept design to the metaverse. This bizarre, funny comedy ran from 2005 to 2008. They later teamed up with Richard Taylor, founder of Wt Workshop, to develop the narrative and surroundings.
Dr. Grordbort has now crossed the threshold into the metaverse. Dr. Grordbort lives in his own universe, which is populated with films, comics, and real figurines. Additionally, Wt Workshop is cooperating with FLUF world, a metaverse environment, to create a collection of Dr. Grordbort raygun NFTs.
Although the exact date of availability of the NFTs is unknown, several Twitter users assume it will be shortly. We know it’s “Airdrop April” at @flufworld, and according to one user, @beleevens, @aaronmcdnz has promised a few more. Thus, I foresee that @seekers xyz, as well as maybe the whole of @flufworld and @partybearNFT, will acquire Dr. Grordbort’s items and ray weaponry.” Additionally, FLUF world has just issued a guide on how to get one of these NFTs.
Finally, this is the beginning of the Wt Workshop’s journey into the metaverse, and it’s amazing to see such an innovative company join the world.
