Writers Get Sick Too…

By Imagineer @ImagineerTeam

not wellYes, I’m afraid it’s true!  I suffer from a recurrent condition, and it has reared its ugly head again.  Simply put, it’s chronic pancreatitis.  I won’t bore you with descriptions beyond that, or the symptoms I, personally, suffer.  Suffice it to say that it makes thought difficult and action harder still.  Therefore, I may not be posting much for a little while (and I do hope it will be only a little while), or my posts may be more sporadic.  (Is that cheering I hear?)  If you do actually enjoy my blogging, then please accept my apologies.  If you simply follow me in hopes of encountering something of interest, please don’t abandon me just yet.  With luck, I will be back to normal (whatever that is).

If you wish to contact me, I hope to check my emails daily, which includes notices from this blog and the contact form system.  I do ask, however, that you be patient and understanding if I don’t respond as quickly as you might wish.  I can only say that I’ll do my best, but this is a significantly debilitating condition.

In the meantime, the case I reported on, in which a dispute arose between an author and Amazon, as it seemed the author’s work had been effectively blacklisted, was apparently declared to be an error by Amazon and the matter has been settled.  Personally, I still find it disturbing that it could have happened in the first place!  I have to wonder what damage has been done to the author’s reputation.
