This post is for influencers like us, who come in contact with brands and PR, who think that we bloggers are beggars and will agree to all their terms and condition.
Sharing my experience for the same.
Last Sunday we Delhities had a travel meet in Gurgaon , which stated - the first season of the biggest travel influencers meet hosted by HelpTrip. In return, we bloggers will get a Complimentary trip to Goa, fully paid with accommodation in a 5-star hotel and unlimited parties.
Sounds interesting right !! Even I was eager to see actually what the meet was all about.
The meet was organized by Oshikka and team. As per the details, it was necessary for one to attend the event and you get a complimentary trip. As told by the PR.
When my fellow bloggers came to know, I'm was attending Oshikkas event they said simply said you are wasting your time, many influencers before had a bad experience with the PR team, but I finally went for the event.
The event was not a PAID, they did not give transport too. Out of 70 bloggers around, 48 were present including me. After the event, everyone was confused about the perk. The chaos begin when they said -"All 70 bloggers are eligible for the event "-My question was straight -why 70, the bloggers who came are fools or what, that we wasted our time and money.

When someone supported my comment -That is was not necessary to post a story or so, Oshikka had no words. At last, she removed ME from the group, without any message or mail.

Later I came to know, she removed many bloggers who had valid questions and added new bloggers too.

In short, you can see the team is so unprofessional and does not know how to treat bloggers. They think we bloggers/Influencers are beggars and will agree to their points without any question.
I seriously don't understand why some influencers don't speak out, these brands take advantage of us. They are not paying anything extra or above their need. Everyone here is self-sufficient to sponsor their trip(s) on their own.
It's a humble request to all, please don't take this kind of rude behavior from PR/ Brands. They equally need us.
In short, it was my fault I did not listen to my friends and I attended the meet, but a lesson learned not to attend or give importance to unprofessional, rude and money minded PR/Brand.
Wake up people, its time now
