While spending a couple of days in the Germany city of Worms, I took a wander down to the Rhine and stumbled upon Wormser Hagenbräu. They had four beers on draft and a season special, which was sold by the bottle for ‘take away’. The beers tasted where the Marzen and the Dunkel. Both good but not out of the world wow factor sups.
Food was also on offer, but it smelt like an English ‘Fish ‘n’ Chip’ shop, so I passed. Lucky there was outside seating so I did not have to smell the cooking flat while enjoying a much needed beer.
