World War Z Sequel in Development

Posted on the 24 June 2013 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

After World War Z became the highest opening in Brad Pitt’s career, it seemed like a likely conclusion that a sequel to World War Z would be in development. Originally conceived as a trilogy, the plans shifted due in part to the troubled shoot of the original. However, those plans are back on the table. Paramount’s chairman Rob Moore says they are “actively” developing future installments. Of course, these plans are super new, so don’t expect to see a sequel until 2015 at the earliest. The first film cost 200M to make, and I’d bet they’re looking for a way to cut costs.
